We have always loved Tuscany but this was just the best trip we have had. The villa is beautifully situated in typical Tuscan countryside and well placed for trips to Siena, Florence and Pisa as well as the more local towns of San Gimignano and Volterra. The villa is delighfully appointed and is ideal for a family bash. (We took the whole villa for a fiftieth birthday celebration.) We had our individual privacy but were easily able to have fun together. I want to thank Gregory and Magdalena for hosting us at Osteria Etrusca, the food and service was great. We just can’t wait to go back!

Great place for kids (as well as for others). They offered baby and kids chairs, a basket of toys etc. and a play ground. Wonderful views and apartements. Great pool areas. The kids loved the stream in the circular pool.

They have made a very useful guide book for the surroundings. The cooking class for kids was nice but not at all according to the guide book.

We had the pleasure to spend one week in Tuscany forever. The place is fully immersed in tuscanian countryside with an incredible view on Volterra’s hills. Apartments are in tuscanian style, well kept, cozy and the crew is very nice and helpful. There are options for eating, relaxing and sporting on site but also the resort is perfectly located for some daily trip in the nice sorroundings. Just perfect week, we’ll definetly come back – Thanks

This is our second stay in the row. We stayed here last year as well. Great place, very nice architecture, taken care in details too. In general I recommend to everyone who likes to relax and enjoy beautiful surroundings!

I have been meaning to write a review since visiting. We just celebrated our second wedding anniversary and were reminiscing about our stay. We were there a week before memorial day and almost had the place to ourselves. They were is the midst of adding more buildings and we got to wander in to all of the existing apartments and the ones in process of being constructed. I loved all of the ones we saw and they were all unique. The design features were tremendous. Modern mixed with old (reclaimed elements).

We were treated like visiting family. We had so much help with arranging visits to local wineries, recommending restaurants for us including directions,etc. When we first drove into saline de volterra…we got lost and Tom drove to us and had us follow him back. Everyone was very approachable and helpful. It is such a beautiful place…..you will never experience a backdrop like that on any tennis court in the US! We had a blast and are hoping to visit for our 5th anniversary!

We went by plane to Pisa and rented a car. We drove to Tuscany forever in 1 hour and with the route description which featured very clear pictures, we found it in one go. On arrival Barbara showed us the way and gave some extra valuable tips for cities to go, beaches, gelaterias, restaurants and so on. The next day she booked a restaurant for us and on arrival we found out that we had to pay cash, which we hadn’t. The owner just gave us the bill and told us to settle it with Barbara. The pools were pretty cold, but doable in 26 degrees celsius. The last days the appartments were fully booked, but we never noticed it. The guy who sells bread from his van in the morning is great fun. And the view on Volterra at night is breath taking. We will definitely come back.

Excellent apartments with superb pool areas and amazing scenery. True images of Tuscany with cornfields remenicent of Gladiator the film. Volterra the nearest town was amazing and hosts a vintage car rally climaxing in the square. All in all memorable.
